9th September 2016 ~Rotary District 1180 Disabled FUN Games in Chester

It was a warm, sunny but windy day when organising Rotarians assembled at the ‘Field of Dreams’, Bank of America, Chester Business Park, Chester for the yearly Rotary District 1180 Disabled FUN Games.

On the day hundreds of Participants were invited to try out the many FUN Games in a controlled and safe environment.This year Games and facilities included Archery, Basketball, Bowls, Boccia, Cricket, Cycling, Darts, Golf, Football, Skittles, Tennis and many other activities. With 325 Participants helped by 250 Rotarians the 16th Disabled FUN Games was a great success.

Chester Deva Rotary members organising the Archery, with the professional help of the Chester Bowmen and were kept very busy during the day with over 159 Contestants. The Participants had to allow for a strong wind to hit the target, but still scored well!

At the close of active Games all Contestants assembled to be rewarded with a medal for their efforts.
