By

Chester Deva Rotary members and friends had a social night out in Mold, North Wales to watch the “Sleeping Beauty” Pantomine  at the Theatre Clwyd.

Most know the tale of “Sleeping Beauty”, Princess Susie cursed at birth by the bad witch Morgana to die, but saved to only sleep for 100 years by the apprentice fairy Fredrica , until her Prince Charming comes to wake Princess Susie up.

Nurse Tabetha Trott in one of her shock frocks.

This cult rock’n’roll Panto has over 16 classic rock and soul songs, sung and played live by the cast of actor musicians.

The Panto was 2 hours of fun, filled with colourful sets, shock frocks on Nurse Trott with mad gags, slapstick galore and even Panto puppets.

Audience participation with the cast prompts and water sprays helped to toward the evenings comedy. Oooh! yes it did!
