Chester Deva Rotarian Ken Salter has by mainly his own efforts, singing in a local choir raised enough funds £960 to purchase a much needed Welch Allyn Spot Monitor for the Chester Countess Hospital. This lightweight monitor equipment is portable on a roller stand and is front-line in medical diagnostic equipment. It enables vital signs to be taken in seconds from any patient, with superior technology for triage or bedside and allows spot checks easily, accurately and affordably. It gives automated measurement of non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), pulse rate, temperature, and pulse oximetry in approximately 30 seconds.

December 13th 2011~ Club Christmas Party

The members ended 2011 with a Xmas party at the George and Dragon in Tarvin.Plenty of food, drink and good company mean’t all there enjoyed the evening.

During the evening Our President gave a few words and demonstration on the fact that balloon size is not always important? She ended the evening, thanking those who had organised the evening, and wishing all present a Happy Christmas!

Celebrations over, only Norman and Moira had to walk home at the end of the night………….about 50yards to their house I believe, the lucky devils.
